  25. I want to open a file and read it line by line and parse the information. I
  26. want to create a program that shows statistics for my mail processor in the
  27. bbs package I am running. It generates a logfile and I wanted a way to parse
  28. the log to gather the information from all the areas that I am carrying to
  29. show how much mail comes through daily/weekly/monthly. It would also aid in
  30. getting an echo onto the backbone once I had this information. Any ideas? I
  31. couldn't find anything that related to opening and reading textfiles and then
  32. creating a new one (probably using a boolean and Lock function) with the info
  33. I garnered from the log file. Any help will be appreciated (and mentioned in
  34. the doc file!) once I get this started.
